Young people are full of mountains of energy that need to be appropriated and released.They have a fervent heart to serve God but require examples and directions. Thus the Overcomers that has as a responding cry "Action!" They are the future of the church. The next generation of leaders will come from the kinds of young people we prepare for tomorrow. They will be the determinant as to whether we have been successful to that which God has called us to. All of a sudden, the young people at ICFM have burst forth with energy and zeal. They have transformed the church dramatically. The potential they have can transform other young people into knowing their God and serving Him the biblical way - "remember now thy creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not when thou shall say I have no need of him" (Ecclesiastes 12:1). The recent election brought about a new leadership: Sis. Siede Slopadoe (President), Sis. Delores Tucker (Vice President), Sis. Laura Fombah (Secretariat), Bro. Gbenimah Balu Slopadoe (Publicity & Membership), Bro. William Sanvee (Youth Choir Director & Music Coordinator) Sis. Williette Vaagbay, Pastor Teah Nagbe & Pastor Josep Varnie (Advisors). The Overcomers meet every Tuesday at 6:30PM for the WORD, fun and games that meet their needs.
